Antiquity is a brand of Indian whisky, manufactured by United Spirits Ltd (USL), a subsidiary of the United Breweries Group. It was launched in 1992. It is available in two variants – Antiquity Blue and Antiquity Rare. Antiquity Blue is made of Indian and Scotch malt whisky blended with grain spirit.
Antiquity Blue embodies the timeless traditions of making whisky. In 1826, a Scotsman Robert Stein pioneered the art of grain whisky at Cameron bridge Distillery. Today, Antiquity Blue is blended with scotch from the same distillery, made using the identical process of grain distillation in copper pot stills that Stein invented. The whisky’s rich and inviting color is inspired by the hue of antique gold. Pronounced malt and rich wood flavours are supplemented with a hint of peat and heather.
